MEET OUR TEAM
Randy Dias is a Professional American Smooth Champion and a three-time Eastern US Champion. He toured the United States with “Champions of the Dance”, a theater-ballroom production that also featured “Dancing with the Stars” professionals Jonathan Roberts and Anna Trebunskaya, and “So You Think You Can Dance” competitor Iveta Lukosiute.
Randy has been dancing for over 35 years. He began his dance career in the Rhode Island State Ballet, where he performed as a principal dancer until 1998.
Randy’s competitive ballroom career flourished in his partnership with Viktorija Barasihina. They won 30 out of 32 rising star events including the Emerald Ball, Heritage Classic, Florida Superstars, Southern States, Texas Challenge and many others. They became 2006 United States Rising Star American Ballroom Silver Medalists and in 2010, Randy and Viktorija became the American Ballroom winners of the Latin America World Dance Sport Championships held in Cancun, Mexico.
Studying and teaching ballroom for over 25 years now, Tonja has gained much recognition and many awards for her success as a teacher and manager. Her abilities led her to record breaking results as an instructor with the Fred Astaire organization and as a manager of Dance with Me SoHo leading her to have been appointed National Training Director of the Dance with Me organization. She continues to apply those principles while leading many instructors and studio teams to incremental successes with her teaching systems.
Anastasia Novitski
Anastasia is a passionate ballroom dance instructor celebrated for her graceful style, expert technique, and warm, encouraging teaching approach. With years of experience in both Latin and Standard ballroom, she brings a deep love for partner dancing to every lesson she teaches.
Having competed in numerous national and international ballroom events, Anastasia combines professional precision with an infectious enthusiasm for dance. Her mission is to help each student build confidence on the dance floor and experience the pure joy of ballroom dancing.
Her teaching emphasizes strong fundamentals, musical connection, and the joy of movement. Whether you’re dancing for fun, preparing for your first showcase, or aiming for the podium, Anastasia fosters a supportive environment where every dancer can truly shine.
Indike Kularantne
Indike Kularatne is a seasoned ballroom dance instructor with a rich background in both competitive dancing and teaching. Originally from the vibrant island of Sri Lanka, Indike’s journey into dance began with competitive ballroom in his homeland, sparking a lifelong passion for movement and expression.
After moving to New York City, Indike immersed himself in the world of ballroom dance, spending 12 years as both an instructor and manager at a renowned Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Manhattan. His dedication to the craft, paired with his dynamic teaching style, made him a sought-after mentor for students at all levels.
Though Indike briefly explored other creative avenues, including careers as a pastry chef and professional organizer, his heart has always remained firmly with dance. These varied experiences have shaped him into a well-rounded individual, offering a unique perspective and an abundance of skills to his students.
With his extensive experience and unwavering commitment to ballroom dance, Indike brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and contagious energy to every class.
